Ana Minguez, Piano and Organ

 She was born in the city of Zaragoza, where she did her first piano studies with Pilar Chárlez and Consuelo Roy. In this first stage of her training, she received the 2nd Honorable Mention in the City of San Sebastián Piano Competition (2002). She continued mastering piano and organ at the Superior Conservatory of Music of Aragon (CSMA) with professors Iván Cítera and Saskia Roures, respectively. During her training, she made an Erasmus in the Hochschule für Musik Detmold, in the class of Professor Martin Sander.

Throughout her career she has received master classes from renowned pianists, such as Josep María Colom, Luca Chiantore, Imre Rohmann or Tibor Szász among others; as well as from different organists: Monserrat Torrent, Guy Bovet, Jose Luis Gonzalez Uriol, Juan de la Rubia, Roberto Fresco, Jürgen Essl, Luca Scandali and Stefano Molardi, among others.

Ana Mínguez has performed numerous recitals as a soloist and in chamber music groups in Spain and Germany. She also participates in instrumental groups.

She has been awarded with divers prizes: “Pódium Excellence” (2017), 3rd prize in the I La Massana International Organ Competition (2018) and 2nd prize in the VI National Interpretation Competition for young organists Ioannes Baptista Cabanilles (2019).

She is a physiotherapist entitled by the University of Zaragoza. In her multidisciplinary facet, she combines her scientific and artistic activity. Her research has lead her to develop guidelines for the prevention of injuries in musicians. Moreover, she also teaches physiotherapy training seminars for musicians.
