Darío Puyuelo, Oboe and English Horn
He was born in Zaragoza in 1993 where he began his musical studies at the Professional Conservatory of Music, with Javier Belda, getting honors in the last courses of oboe and chamber music. He continued his studies at the Superior Conservatory of Music of Aragon (CSMA), with Francisco Gil and José Antonio Masmano, obtaining the highest honours degree in 2016. He obtained a Scholarship for Artistic Training, granted by the Diputación de Zaragoza for the 2017/2018 academic year. Subsequently, he performed a Masters Degree in Interpretation in Germany, at the Hochschule für Musik Detmold , with Professor József Kiss.
He has received master classes from Christian Wetzel, Thomas Indermühle, Jacques Tys, David Walter, Céline Moinet, Jean Louis Capezalli, Lucas Macías or Miriam Pastor, among others. He also receives chamber music classes from members of the Quiroga Quartet.
Darío Puyuelo performed during the 2018/2019 season a professional Praktikum with the Nordwestdeutsche Philharmonie orchestra in Herford, Germany. He regularly plays with the Detmolder Kammerorchester (DKO), with the Kammerphilharmonie Minden and other German formations. In Spain, he has worked alongside with the Reino de Aragon Orchestra (ORA), the City of Zaragoza Orchestra, etc. He has been part of other different international young orchestras too, such as Baltic Sea Philharmonic or Junge Tonkünstler Orchester. This trajectory has allowed him to share the stage with artists such as Natalia Guttman, Arcadi Volodos or Philippe Tondre, playing in some of the most important concert halls in Europe, such as KKL Luzern, Royal Concertgebow in Amsterdam or the National Auditorium of Madrid.
Currently, he combines his orchestral activity with his performance in different chamber music concerts, especially with the Onix Duo formation.
